L01 · in-class activity · 6 cards
Choose one AI application case. Identify what it does, then make a first judgment about what needs protecting and what control could help. Different groups answer independently; compare their answers to the same case during report-out.
Enter the code on the projector.
Opens a room, a projector board and the phase controls.
How it works
AI applications can look similar while doing very different things. A tool that suggests a change gives you different security concerns from one that can make the change itself. Understanding that difference is the starting point for deciding what needs protecting.
After this activity, you should be able to explain an application’s AI roles, distinguish a displayed result from an action, and connect a specific security concern to a control that could help. You should also be able to say what information is missing before making a stronger judgment.
These skills give you a practical starting point for the security and safety concepts in Session 2.
